Working with Taquerías is fun, but a big challenge. At Moma Consulting we like working with real food, and real ingredients when we do the food photography for our clients. The reason is simple, we want to present what the restaurant serves, so their customers get exactly what they see. This of course, is a big challenge, because we don’t use coloring, or fake ingredients. And, when the ingredients are as challenging as pork, beef, and cheese, the equation becomes much more daunting.
When we began working with Tacos Bacanora, they already had their Facebook page up and running, and were posting images, and sales promotions. These are some examples of what they had:
We knew this place had potential as soon as we had the opportunity to learn about their story, and where these products originated. So, after the proper introduction and rapport, we got to work on their food photography, for that was going to be the “hero” on the intended touch-points. Once that was done, we focused on branding the restaurant as so much more than a Taco Shop. We developed a concept that elevated the awareness and nurtured the demographic’s sense of belonging. We created posters that were widely shared, leveraging them with events such as the VMA’s, the World Cup Qualifiers, Valentines, etc. The Momentum the brand picked thanks to these efforts positioned the brand as one of the go-to places after baseball games, for soccer games, and late night munchies.
