Tampico Mucho Bueno
Just as we predicted. Moma Consulting will be working close to the industry one of our board members love, which is fishing. We have to say, we were really thrilled to work on this project for everything it involves, and for having the opportunity to create, and implement the advertising strategy for this event. Upon meeting with the staff in charge, we spoke about what this tournament meant, and where we saw this tournament becoming. Everyone involved agreed that we could bring to the table what was needed to make this, one of the biggest, most lucrative fishing tournaments in the Mexican Gulf of Mexico. We knew that if we got interesting sponsors, we could attract serious fishermen from around Mexico, and some parts of the United States. What we were instructed to do was to create a concept that could be used as the main image of the tournament, and create a strategy that would be cost effective. Being the nature of the tournament, Online Marketing was the way to go, and we focused on the following:
- Create Logo
- Create Sponsorship Packages
- Advertise
- Social Media / Fan Page
- Expand Reach
- Increase Engagement
- Photography for Sponsors
- Media Relations
- Press Conference
- Print Media
- Email Marketing
This project began for us in November, and ended on May 15th, when we handed in all the reports regarding insights, reach, sponsors, prizes, etc. All of our staff worked very hard to make this tournament a great success. In the end, we had sponsorships from City, and State Governments, Meat Packaging, Fishing Lures & Apparel, WIldlife Artists, Grocery Shops, Rum Company, and Car Dealerships to name a few. Fishermen attended from Houston, San Antonio, Port Aransas, McAllen, Tampico, Valles, and Puerto Vallarta. The message that we crafted, and the strategy was fin tuned to engage with influencers, and avid fishermen in such way that each post was Shared by them to their Friends and Family. Captains and Sponsors were personally invited to attend the event. Within the opening and closing ceremonies, Sponsors were recognized and thanked for their support. Activities were prepared for the whole family to enjoy, making this event, one of the most talked about in the city, and re-defining how fishing tournaments were to be advertised in Tampico, Mexico. Here is some of the work we created for Tampico Mucho Bueno:
Having the opportunity to create the identity from scratch, planning, and executing the advertising strategy was a big challenge, but it was very rewarding. Being able to watch all of our efforts come together and position this tournament as one of the most important in Mexico, is a dream come true. If you like what we did for this event, and would like us to be a part of yours, please send us an email, and let us know how we can help.
