Ribbon Cutting’s Speech
Ladies, and gentlemen, friends, and members of the staff, welcome. A special thanks to the Mission Chamber of Commerce for letting us celebrate our Ribbon Cutting at this wonderful facility. And, a special thank you to Julio Acebo from Taqueria Hidalgo for catering at this event.
I’d like to begin by introducing our company, and by letting you guys know what Moma Consulting is. From time to time, people will ask us about the name, and will inform us about the existence of the Musem of Modern Art. Moma Consulting is a portmanteau from the words “Momentum, and Marketing”. Moma Consulting then, relies heavily on Market insights, to create strategies that will help our customers “ride the wave”. And even though we have only been operating under this name for a year and five months, our staff has around 15 years working on the field.
Our clients range from: the Automobile, Food & Beverage, Beauty & Health, Tourism, Education, Tv & Broadcasting, and Jewelry industries. We’ve managed to work in such a wide array of industries, mainly because ever since day one, we’ve created strategic alliances with our clients. We firmly believe that when we become one, both parts become stronger. We’ve shared the feeling of pride our clients feel, and we’ve made it ours. It’s that same feeling that provides us the fuel to go the extra mile.
And, it is that feeling that has taken us at Moma Consulting not to settle for riding the wave I mentioned before. We provide our customers with the tools for them to surf it, and enjoy the ride. The way we do this is by being consistent, and by being cohesive.
Our services include: Corporate image, webpage development, SEO, Social Media, Advertising Design, Photography, and Sales Promotions. Throughout our branding strategies, we take each of these not as individual efforts, but as a reinforcement of the next. We are able to achieve this, thanks to the diverse backgrounds, and work experience our staff has gained throughout a decade and a half. Just in my seven years working, I’ve had the opportunity to work up and around North America.
My work has been featured at:
- National Gographic’s 2011 Week 11 Virtual Gallery, endorsed by Alejandro Sanz
- Published image at the 2011 2nd Edition of the Portraits & People Contest book (WPGA UK)
- Published image at the 2012 Street Photography book (WPGA UK)
- Revista Troleo (Mexico)
- 2 Honorable Mentions by the Gala Awards
- 1st Place at the photography Contest “Postales de Pesca en Mexico”
- 5th Place at a lure photography contest by Happy Ending Lures
And, I recently became a member of the Photojournalist’s Network of Ibero America

Today, with this ribbon cutting ceremony, we look forward to having the opportunity to belong to the community. Back in October, when we decided to open our second office, and I was appointed to lead the new project, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to head down to the Rio Grande Valley; the place where I was born.
And, although today as we cut this ribbon, it means we’ve officially opened our doors, my wish is that as we look back at this moment, several years down the road, we may look back and say: this was the moment when the community of Mission, McAllen, and the Rio Grande Valley, opened their doors to us. That is the biggest honor we can aspire to achieve.
Thank you very much
