Weeks before Cinemark Bistro‘s (Edinburg, Texas) official launch, we were approached by the Marketing Manager, to schedule a one day Photography Shoot on site. We were thrilled to face the challenge, and astonished to have the opportunity to shoot for a client such as this.

One of Moma Consulting‘s specialties is Food Photography, and it sure meant a lot to have a great company such as Cinemark Holdings Inc. (a company that operates in North and South America, as well as in Taiwan) choose our company for this assignment.

When the date came, we met with her, and her staff to discuss the shoot’s objective, and goals to achieve. We also had the opportunity to see the images that were currently being used on their POP Displays.

As usual, our staff arrived over an hour before the actual shoot so we could scout locations, do the light readings, and speak with the kitchen personnel. Once we found our spot, and had all the equipment ready, we began our session.

For this assignment, we went with a wide angle, and two light sources

First came the burger:

The came the fish sub

And last but not least, came the pizza

Once we were done with the food close-ups, we were asked to shoot the burger inside the theater, and then do some wide angle shots of the theater by itself using different angles. For a while, we wondered where those images would be, but to our delight, we’ve found them by doing a simple google search. The burger on the theater has been used to describe the investment Cinemark did on the city of Edinburg, and the theater ones are to showcase what guests can expect when visiting the state of the art location.
