In April, we got called to do a one week shoot at Isla Pasion in Cozumel, Mexico for their new wedding advertising. We were scheduled to shoot during that time, but since this was an assignment where three other companies were involved. The project was a re-branding of Isla Pasion, and merging under the same name their wedding services named Diamond Orchid Weddings. The staff from Moma Consulting would be in charge of shooting the food dishes in a neutral background, and assist as second shooters on the wedding montages.

Due to foul weather, we were called again in May, for another week of shooting. Every day, we would work from 6:30 a.m. to around 1:00 a.m. Even though it was exhausting, we have to say this has been one of the most fun projects we took part on. First of all, Isla Pasion is paradise. Located in north Cozumel, this resort stands in a private island, so the scenery is breath-taking/ The place is ideal to host very intimate weddings, and that was the main purpose of this shoot.

Upon meeting with the upper management at the place, we were introduced to the company in charge of the video shooting, as well as the photographer in charge of doing the landscape photography, and the environmental portraiture. We were all to work under the instructions of a branding company from Mexico city that was the one in charge of executing the re-branding strategy they had been working on with Isla Pasion for a number of months. Us at Moma Consulting focused on our part, and after two weeks of shooting, and around 10 days of image enhancing, we presented the following images:

Collaborating in this project is something that we will cherish for many years to come. Everyone involved was extremely professional, and friendly. To make things better, the end result pleased the customer because the quality is top notch. We’re confident that it will help them a lot to make their wedding resort one of Mexico’s hot spots.
